First St. Charles Public Library Student Receives Career Online High School Diploma

On March 3rd, Elizabeth Nitkiewicz was St. Charles Public Library’s first graduate through Career Online High School. The program is nationally accredited and allows adults the opportunity to earn a high school diploma while gaining career skills.

In January of 2017, the St. Charles Public Library began offering qualified residents the opportunity to earn an accredited high school diploma and career certificates through Career Online High School. This monumental accomplishment was celebrated in a graduation ceremony, which included remarks by library staff:
